MRS. L.K. PRETORIUS

Principal

I am Mrs. Lara Pretorius the principal ABC Primary School. I started at the school in 2004 and have gradually progressed with the help and guidance of the owner, Mrs. M.D. Valadas, to become the principal. I am adept in building relationships with people, fair and consistent, always prepared and well organised, a good listener, and a visionary. Hence, we have remained successful in delivering quality education and excellent results as a school. It is a great pleasure and an even greater honour to be the principal of ABC Primary school.

MS. VERA MOERDYK

Administrator/Receptionist

Ms. Moerdyk is a friendly, warm person that is the frontline of the school. She handles visitors with patience, respect and compassion. She is a very active and important person in the office making sure that all persons are helped and the office runs efficiently.

MRS. AMANDA MULLER

Finance Department

Mrs. Muller is a hard worker who handles the finances of the school in a very professional manner. She is very dedicated and an integral part of the school management team.

MS. ANNA LEKALAKALA

Juniors & Grade RR

Ms Lekalakala is the motherly teacher who passionately teaches the 3 and 4-year-olds social interaction, spatial, colours and shapes. Each child under her care is nurtured and assisted to grow to their full potential while being given loads of love and attention.

Mr. Kgope is a dedicated, hardworker that enjoys teaching and his passion is to encourage learners to learn another language to the best of their abilities. He is a stable, loving family man whose love and warmth overflows to the children he teaches and works with daily.

MR. JOHN AKINWATIMI

Head of Department – Intermediate and Senior Phase
Mathematics – Grade 4 to Grade 7

Mr. Akinwatimi has set the goals of improving learners' academic records and motivating children to learn. He chooses to help develop his learners' mental health and character which in turn encourages positive actions for the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional areas in each child’s life.

MRS. MOUREEN NALWADDA

Grade R

Mrs. Nalwadda is a soft-spoken teacher who handles each child in her care with love and dedication. She aims to create a positive learning environment for all learners in the school. She helps the learners in Grade R to grow through learning. While teaching she develops the learners' listening, speaking, and writing skills so that the learners can become independent in the future.

MRS. SNENHLANHLA MLAMBI

Grade 1

Mrs. Mlambi is a very organised teacher and takes pride in the lessons she prepares. She provides quality education to the learners in her care so that learners are able to be independent and take control of future studies. Her goals are to improve academic performance in terms of speaking, writing, and mathematics. She also wants to make a difference in all learners’ lives by creating a positive learning environment.

MRS. TEMBEKA BALENI

Grade 2

Mrs. Baleni is a nurturing, loving teacher to the Grade 2 class. She creates a positive and productive learning environment. She enjoys the daily interaction with the learners and the skills she is able to enhance. She is a self-motivated, hard worker that also makes time for the other learners in the school.

MS. TRUDY MAKAMU

Grade 3

Ms. Makamu is a passionate and energetic teacher. She creates a receptive and warm environment for learners to feel comfortable to learn and ask for assistance. Her goals are to develop each learner’s social, emotional, and academic well-being. Her passionate personality assists the learner in taking an active role in all learning areas.

MRS. PRUDENCE MSIMANGO

Mrs. Msimango is an enthusiastic teacher who draws learners' attention and their participation in class. She brings quality teaching, support to learners to think critically, to solve problems, and to communicate better. Her goal is to grow as a teacher and to be a mentor to children even while teaching.

MS. JULIANA MAKURUWIRA

Grade 4 – 7 English Home Language

Ms. Makuruwira is passionate about the English Language and aims to help learners to gain the knowledge she has. She teaches with patience and calm. She tries her best to be available or help. She helps to develop learners to their full potential so that they can become stronger learners.

MS. ALICE MANJONJO

Ms. Manjonjo tries to raise curiosity in learners about the environment and encourages them to take care of the world we live in. She helps learners to discover their talents and nurture them. She believes it is important to encourage young ones to follow their goals. She is passionate about sharing knowledge and helping children to realize that all their actions have consequences.

Mr. Opoggen is a passionate teacher who enjoys seeing the children in his care progress at school and in their personal lives. He aims to always be a teacher that makes a difference in the learner’s lives whether it comes from the social well-being or cleanliness and health that he shares with them. Knowing that his teaching impacts children daily makes him feel that his goals are being reached.
